This treatment features micro-needling to naturally create new collagen and elastin in your skin; often referred to as collagen induction therapy. Chemical peels also known as skin resurfacing treatments is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin. There are various types of chemical peels which are applied to the skin that stimulates the top layers and allows new skin to regenerate. Single treatments can be used to brighten and soften the skin. With multiple treatments, you will be able to achieve more significant results.
We only use AFA Antioxidant Facial Peels, which are a safe and effective way to improve common patient concerns with photo damaged skin. The peels help exfoliate dead skin cells with less irritation than AHA peels and are specially designed for patients with dry and more sensitive skin.
FAQ About Medical Treatments
What Do I Do to Prepare for Medical Treatments?
Preparation for medical treatments involves avoiding retinoid treatments and treatments for 48 hours prior to your treatment as well as direct sun exposure for that time. The only other step is to arrive for your treatment with clean skin and no makeup.
What Should I Expect During Micro-needling?
The micro-needling procedure is non-surgical, non-ablative and is used to treat wrinkles, scarring, acne, pigmentation issues, cellulite, and hair loss.
Prior to the procedure, a numbing cream is applied to minimize or eliminate any discomfort. With micro-needling, we use the Innopen™ to create tiny micro-channels in the skin to which the body responds by beginning the healing process. Collagen and elastin production are also stimulated to add volume to the skin and restore elasticity to it. The treatments are safe as we use sterile single-use needle tips with the device.
During the procedure we use very fine needles to create micro-channels deep into the skin that stimulate new collagen and elastin production. This allows for greater penetration into necessary areas of the skin and increases the efficacy of the active ingredients.
How Long Does It Take to Perform Micro-needling?
Micro-needling itself takes about 30 minutes to complete. If you count the skin preparation and post-treatment process, the entire treatment may take up to an hour and half.
What to Expect After Medical Treatments?
The downtime following is short, the area may be pink like a mild sunburn for up to 48 hours. As the skin begins to repair, the skin may also feel tight; thus extra moisture is required.
When Will I See Results?
While you can see some results immediately following a treatment, the results become visible once the skin is completely healed, which takes about two to four weeks for micro-needling. The skin will continue to improve everyday for the next 6 months. Full results will be the most visible at 4-6 months post-treatment.

Regrettably we cannot guarantee the longevity of any regular manicures, as the daily activities of life can wear down your nails like nothing else. It is important that you maintain a good routine in order to keep them healthy, so they are less likely to chip or peel.

We provide a five day (no questions asked) guarantee period, in which if you experience any of these issues, we will put your mind at ease with the repair service FREE of charge. In order to receive this service from us within that time frame without worry on your end; contact us within five days of experiencing an issue.
